Used as mounting point for 7" screen GPS. Followed instructions. I mounted to flat finished wood surface in motorhome underneath the TV compartment. I wiped the mounting point with alcohol prep pad, let dry, and then clamped for 24 hrs. The RV is stored in a metal building that temps reach well over 100 degrees and no problems encountered.

Certain devices I have require these larger disk and you can't find them anywhere but online and I'm glad they exist because I couldn't use certain things if these little awesome disk didn't exist.. I've been using these for years!!

UPDATE:
Six months after using this product, it has become slightly bent in contour with the dash's curve. Unfortunately, this prevents the GPS mount from getting a good seal, and it falls now. Had to take off two stars.
Now, the adhesive holds this sturdy plastic disk very strongly, so make sure you have it exactly where you want it before applying.
Also note that the bigger the disk, the more surface area you have to move around your GPS mount. For me, this is big enough, but others might need larger or smaller.

Excellent product. I have used (3) of these now over the last 2 years. Product comes with an alcohol wipe to clean your dash. It has held up in extreme heat over the last 2 years. The disc allows for my TomTom 1535 to be mounted without issue.
