I ordered this in addition to the deck with the Nintendo characters, thinking it would be kind of a neat keepsake. When it arrived, I got 10 decks of these cards... is that normal? shipping specs said 3.5 oz... anyway... not really complaining i guess... just confused?

Smaller than I expected but well made The games are a bit complex if you are a beginner like me but the internet has full color directions for all the games and what each card means.
A Surprise gift for a teen granddaughter

I bought the Hanafuda Hawaii Style and these original size for my teen granddaughter's birthday. We started out plying the larger Hanafuda Hawaiian cards. She saved these for playing after she learned how with the larger ones She was surprised with how colorful & small these cards were. Not the usual games she was expecting. A great surprise.

Got these and love playing them. The cards are small and unlike traditional playing cards. But they are sturdy and thick. We have been playing matching flowers to get familiar with the suits. I like playing it. The cards are pretty, though the quality of the graphic on the card is on the low side.

Such a great set of cards! I was inspired to get this ever since I saw 'Summer Wars', and I got an app for my phone! The app didn't keep me engaged long enough after battles, plus it was too hard to read (I have a tiny phone) so I bought this deck and it was a great purchase! Too bad the instructions for Hanafuda and Hachi-Hachi are in Japanese, but I can survive!
