We adopted a pair of kittens both with on-going diarrhea. They have been checked by our vet and tested negative for worms/parasites and diseases and are up to date with vaccinations.
This is doing to the trick! No more diarrhea - hallelujah!! They have normal poops now and they absolutely LOVE it! Both of them know where I keep it. As soon as they see me getting out the syringe they come running. I dial the dose and apply the thick, cream like stuff to my index finger and they lick it off and want more. (Of course, they will have to wait until when it's time for the next dose - this is not a treat even though they consider it as such.)
The "best by" dates were clearly marked on the syringes that I received and the dates on mine were good for a year.
I go through one 15g syringe in about a week with two kittens. At that rate, the price can for sure add up but so far, it's bringing them relief and in turn, me as well because I no longer have to bath the mess off of them or clean places where they tracked several times a day, every day. (Ugh!)
The directions say to store in a cool, dry area for maximum stability.

I was a bit sceptical buying a probiotic off Amazon and not a vet. I was also a bit sceptical buying a generalized probiotic as I was worried about safety for underweight sick 9 week old kittens. However, its worked wonders. Within hours most of them stopped with the diarrhea. They had a viral infection so there wasn't much my vet could recommend other than a probiotic but the vets price for it was way too high for the amount of kittens I have. I wish I had bought this sooner. They were not doing well at fighting it off as they couldn't keep hydrated. Within a day I saw visible recovery from what was a steady decline. I thought it would be hard to get them to eat it and a couple of the kittens still aren't much for it (they dont resist they just dont jump for it) but most of them I have to fight off inorder to give it to the others. One climbs my pant leg to try to get to it. This makes me happy as days ago it had trouble climbing into the litterbox. 10 out of 10 recommend for under the weather kittens. I went from scared of death to wow ok quick recovery. *note: do not use as a medication if your animal is sick take to the vet. Great for immune boost not a medication.
