My senior chihuahua Pomeranian mix has always felt the need to eat grass for an upset stomach. Unfortunately that doesn't work well when you are a rescue dog who has already lost most of your teeth. He also had hot spots and itchy places when we got him. I tried this because it had great reviews and in 4+ years it has never disappointed. No more hot spots, itchy bits, or grazing in the backyard.
At one point early in the pandemic the supply was cut off "” he immediately went back to gumming grass and had a lot of stomach issues, even though I tried several other probiotics for dogs (none of which came close to having the strength of this product but were the strongest I could find). The itchy spots came back too. Thankfully things returned to normal in a few months and we could go back to this probiotic. It is a lifesaver for my little guy!

They actually do what they say, and it's amazing. I have 2 Dobermans in my home, and my 1.5 yr old female had a very strong Frito smell to her. I mean it was so strong that you could smell it without even getting near her feet .

My female German Shepherd, who is 16 months old had developed allergies to a particular dog food and I was not aware until she started rapidly losing weight. I took her to the vet, who ran every test possible to rule out kidney, liver, and parasitic issues. All her tests were negative, thank God. I decided to do some research and found that food allergies to chicken and chicken-by-products may be the case. Although many pet food companies may list another form of meat as the main ingredient, many add chicken meal as a filler. I placed her on a limited diet free of chicken and added PetVitalityPRO to her daily regiment. I researched canine probiotics after my young golden retriever started experiencing recurrent bouts of intestinal bacterial overgrowth. This was diagnosed by my vet as an imbalance of bacteria in the gut which caused intestinal irritation and diarrhea. Initially spent $200 with my vet for diagnosis and antibiotic treatment. When the condition recurrred twice over several months, I decided to explore alternative options outside of antibiotics. After placing my dog on a bland chicken rice diet for a week, I resumed her normal high quality dog food diet and added this probiotic. No more fecal urgency/soft stools/diarrhea. I started titrating the dose to see if my 70 lb dog really needed four tablets a day, and the soft stools returned. Back on four tablets a day, stools firmed. Dog eats a dead bird, diarrhea returns for one day, continue treatment and bland diet for two days and then back to small regular stools. Now on probiotic for five weeks, no problems. This product just plan works. Yes, there is some crumbling of some of the product in the bottle, which I attribute to a manufacturing process that strives to maintain live bacterial organisms, but I can easily live with this and just eyeball the daily dose from the crumbles. Well worth having a dog with a healthy digestive system and not having to deal with diarrhea and gastric upset!
