I bought the queen size. It looks really pretty. I just got it yesterday so I am not sure how it will do in a long run but I don't think i will overload and it does look sturdy enough to me.
One less star because there weren't holes in some places to drive the screws in and I had to put in a lot of effort to finish up.

Easily put together although I was missing a couple screws. Looks great, sturdy enough, middle part of seat bench needs some kind of support if it is going to be used for seating frequently (I put a stack of old books underneath, works!). Great value for price though and I received it a couple says before promised which is always a huge bonus! Worth it!

My husband put it together without much trouble using the enclosed directions. A full size futon mattress fits well when the frame is put into its flat position. When the futon is in its seated position, the full size 8-inch thick mattress hangs over the front of the seat frame more than we like. However, it looks good, and our grandson reported that it was very comfortable. My 200+ lb. husband enjoys an occasional nap. We like the compact size that fits into a small space.

Love this futon frame. I don't really intend to use it as a bed, but nice to know I could if I wanted to. It is the main couch in my apartment. It sits low to the ground but with a futon on it, it is a comfortable height for me. I put it together by myself with a screwdriver and a hammer. Some of the holes did not line up so I ended up bracing it against the wall and gently bending the wood a millimeter or two to make the pieces fit. It is raw wood and maybe some day I will stain it to match the rest of my furniture, but with the futon on it, you hardly see the wood anyway.
