Does the job but more of a single serving grill.

Great grill for the price. Wasn't sure if we would use a Foreman much for a family of 4 so didn't want to spend much. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy a larger version. This one is more of a single-serving grill.
Two gripes on it are
#1: you can only fit 1 Costco-type frozen burger patty on it at a time so not really a 2-serving grill.
#2 The chord on this is really short. I'd like to be able to cook with this beneath the vent-hood in our kitchen but the chord is only about 2' long and won't reach an outlet. We end up using it on the island in our kitchen and it barely has enough chord to reach the outlet...ends up stinking up the whole house and I'm sure the steam vapor is leaving a greasy spot on my vaulted ceiling.
Other than that, I like the way it easily cooks and it has a very simple design. This would be ideal for a dorm room but I'd buy an extension chord to go with it.

I bought a George Foreman grill about 5 years ago and just received this one yesterday. I am very disappointed in a few things. It comes with NOTHING in the way of instructions and the one I bought 5 years ago came with a cookbook, great instructions, a special sponge to clean it. I no longer have any of these things, unfortunately. It's also a much cheaper product. It's all plastic and very light weight. Things today simply aren't made the way they once were. Not happy.

In case you wondered what a burger patty actually looked like in this, I included a photo of a normal sized one. I expected the thing to be tiny though, and with that in mind, it's awesome for a single serving!

I really like the George Forman Grill. For years, we've had a Champ (right) but I wanted a 2-serving size (left). It actually looks smaller. To make it easier to compare, a napkin has been placed on each. I checked the product description and found that the measurements don't match the title.

I had to have the first grill replaced, as it did not work, however Amazon replaced it immediately and the second has worked beautifully for an entire season. This is my second Foreman grill- the first gave good service for 3 years and then died an electronic death. I considered that for the price, that was a good term of service and replaced it with a similar model. This is just the right size for a small meal for two, handles burgers and hot dogs, grilled onions and tomatoes easily and does a nice job. I put the buns on top to warm while the burgers are cooking, and they get just perfectly warmed. It doesn't come apart for cleaning, but is small and easy to hold by the sink, cleans up quickly because of its non-stick surface. I can recommend this to anyone who needs a small grilling appliance.
