One of the most useful tools I have ever purchased
Amazon CustomerNovember 20, 2017
One of the most useful tools I have ever purchased. Bought it over 2 years ago when I was building a new house. Was perfect for picking up all the trash that workers leave on the site, including small scraps of paper, tar paper, bottle caps, cigarette butts, any size plastic bottle, wood scraps, nails, etc. Now that construction is done, I use it for picking up branches, pine cones, etc, as well as retrieving items that fall behind my workbench, under the bed, etc. I am 6'5" tall and it is a back saver for me!
I have been keeping it in my truck to make sure I have it available at both my homes. But I'm going to order another for the other house to save space in the truck. Plus in the truck I have to be careful not to pile suitcases on it as it might bend.
Perfect for picking up dry dog poop from gravel.

I was looking for something to pick up dry and hardened dog poop as we live in Southern California. And none of the poopy pick up products worked for picking up on large gravel because you end up scooping all the rocks into the scooper as well. This easy to use and I find myself picking up all sorts of stick-debris as well as the poop. I am very happy - this should be a product that Pet Smart has.
Great for picking up trash during my walks in my beach neighborhood
ConstantJune 29, 2017
I use this to pick up trash on my walks thru my beach community. I am 5'8" and it is perfect length for my height. I hold it about 2/3 way down the foam handle. Should work for someone up to about 6', taller than that you will probably have to bend over to pick up something from the ground. It is light weight with sharp edges for picking up small items, paper is super easy, plastic bottles okay, nails and glass is a little harder but doable, straws are easy to pick up, bottle caps are easy. I'd say it has the most trouble with glass bottles, especially thicker/heavier ones. Warning: using this on your walks mean people want to stop and thank you and get into conversations.
and it is the BEST! It is lightweight
DuggieJune 16, 2016
I just tried out this tool today, and it is the BEST! It is lightweight, it will pick up anything the first time, so no grabbing multiple times before i get ahold of something. It is a short stroke to grab something. There was no stress on my hand or wrist. When i put this grabber in my litter bag with something in the jaws, it let go cleanly and didn't stick at all. This grabber tool is also long enough, so i didn't have to bend over too much.
Light, very precise, many uses

This is an excellent grabber tool. I've had it for several months now and it really does have the precision to pick up tiny things and in stuff that has fallen into narrow spaces, since the action on it is like giant tweezers. Even works well in yard's fire pit since there's no plastic down at the end like other grabbing tools, so it's very multi-purpose out in the yard and even in the house. My elderly mother loves it is since it's so light and effective. I want to get another one for indoors since the only downside to this design is it's hard to clean. The very end is a sliced open pipe so it's easy for dirt and anything else to get crammed up in there. Not a good thing to have inside once it has seen outdoor use.
