Id have to give these 4 stars - they seem hefty and sturdy, however it comes at a price with room to plug them in on your board. I wouldn't recommend these if you have to plug 2 in right next to each other for stereo in/outs as the casing of the plug is pretty bulky. They seem like great quality though and I have no weird sound issues. These were at a great price too!

I purchased a Planet Waves instrument cable several years ago and it served me well. It was promoted as having zero triboelectric noise. (crackling electrical noise from moving and handling instrument cables) There was no noise as stated and the cable held up very well for a few years of frequent use, gigging and practicing. I have since moved to a wireless system but I'm sure that Plant Waves cable is still in great condition.
I expected the same quality from these cables, purchased for a big pedal board. They have a high quality appearance and feel, they are free of the tribolectric noise and are working well at this time. I have tried cheap cables and they crackle when handled, are of visibly poor quality and just don't hold up to gigging wear and tear. I'm confident these cables will perform well for many years.

We returned this item once already since was not sent Planet Waves cables. And yet once again we were sent some off market products. Not Planet Waves.. I t looks like a generic cable and the ends are different. Very unhappy with orderl. ONLY gave 1 star so could do the review. Complete screw up. One mistake, I can accept, two, not so much.

I have this connecting the effects loop send to the effects loop return on my Marshall DSL401 combo amp, a trick I ran across from the online Marshall community. This connection may or may not add some additional tonal character, but the cable itself does its job without adding any of its own issues. I will buy more of these as needed, they're well made and a convenient length for patching duties like this.

Just finished up mastering a track where I chained 5 effects pedals together with these little chords and must say there is zero, none, nada noise coming off these and I was listening attentively with headphones. They are crystal clear which opens up the tracks frequency range and space as one aims for. If you hear a buzz I'd check something else down the line like the instrument or wiring or whatever setup you're working with. I've used Monster cables in my past recordings and even with their cost being twice more than these I expected to benefit from the optimal quality -- turns out they would still make a bit of noise that bugged me when finishing a track. Noisy connections/cables are a pain to level out and I've compromised before, so taking the headache out of the equation has me writing this review. 5 stars for the negation of residual, front and center ear scratching noise -- and at their cost -- I don't know how they produce such quality on a seemingly tight margin.

Pedals being side by side in a shortened chain, it definetly makes for easy to work setups so you can just focus on playing the music or engineering a track.

I'll buy more any time I add a pedal to my collection. 5 stars. That's my rare review, thanks for reading. Happy playing all!
