Love these!

This is my second purchase of these. My first was a bandana design that I still have that s a little worn. They last very well and are very breathable. They will make your shades fog a little at a stoplight. As I use this with my half helmet as a face mask when riding my motorcycle to keep rocks and bugs off my face and mouth. And sometime working around the garage etc, I will use it as a doo rag on my head. They last a really long while if you take care of them.
Perfect for the Price

You can't go wrong if you wear open faced motorcycle helmets with this "Motley Tube". I have a couple motorcycles and usually wear full face helmets or the occasional modular helmet, but when I ride the Harley, I only wear an open faced helmet. My biggest gripe when I transitioned to an open faced helmet was the tiny road debris that a car kicks up when you're stuck behind one and the occasional bug. I couldn't find any solution that was my style, until I purchased one of these "Motley Tubes". This is my second one as the other one has lost some of its ability to retract from so much use. I would say if you use only one tube, you'll wear it out in a year of riding or less if you're a daily rider. I like how you can breathe through it easily since it's made out of cotton and it's easy to slip over your nose, and visa-versa. I use it when riding highway speeds, too, with no issues. For the length of time it is usable, the price is perfect for me. No complaints here! The other tube I have is a black/white American flag - real nice style. On a side note, I live and ride in Georgia and this beats any other face cover for riding a motorcycle during our muggy summers.

I bought the paisley and houndstooth patterns. They're both great! My personal preference is to use the houndstooth for my hair. I have long hair and being able to contain it while wearing a half helmet is ideal. I use the paisley one for a half mask, or around my neck when not needed. I will say, they're slightly different. The houndstooth one has writing along one end (the brand name, 'made in china,' all that good stuff...). The paisley one is just the pattern, which is nice. I'd prefer it if all of them were this way.
Also, they will cause glasses to fog up. Then again, there isn't really anything that can prevent that other than some over-the-glasses goggles (which I recommend for any visually impared riders out there who do NOT want to shell out hundreds for prescription goggles). I use these, and they work great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CVXW1K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think this is a better alternative to a bandana. I'm probably going to order a few more just to have more options. Ride safe!

Very nice quality motleytube. Works well when gardening. This is also awesome for when its a bit chilly. Not only is it functional to help keep you warm and keep the bugs off your face, but when you pull your bucket off you've got a half scarf on, that looks awesome. I get nothing but compliments and It really looks bad ass when worn right. It will take a few rides to get used to, but you'll get it. And, I know I shouldn't say this, but I don't mind that I look pretty hard when I ride when this thing on.
Oh and unlike other masks I've purchased, when I get to a light, I just pull the mask down under my nose to keep my glasses from fogging up. Then when I get back on it, i just pull that little piece back over my big ass nose and I'm protected and stylin' once more. This is about as straight forward an answer as I can give.
{{Washing}} Just handwash the thing. I'm a man who. I don't like laundry! But I hand wash this little baby cuz she deserves it and its much easier. **Does seem to Color bleed black a little so be careful if you toss in with other laundry!

There's a way to wear it biker style that leaves a flap to cover the back of my neck when riding in the hot sun. I can wrap it around my wrist and use it to mop my brow when mowing the lawn. I soak it in cold water, squeeze the excess water out, and place it around my neck for the cooling effect. I wrapped it around a bottle of Gatorade to keep the drink cool til I finished it. And it covers my head in the sun so I don't sunburn my skull.
