I bought a few different brands of weatherproof matches and these BY FAR work AMAZINGLY in comparison.
A couple things though...
- If ya use one inside (even just to test), you're whole house will smell like them. It's like being trapped indoors with fireworks going off.
- They burn hot and QUICK. Definitely make sure to have your kindling and whatnot ready to rock and roll. Total burn time is about 10 seconds.

I wanted all weather matches in a weatherproof container and this is exactly that. A good number of matches, replacement strike surfaces, and a solid waterproof seal. They even include some cotton inside the case to prevent the matches from moving around. Would recommend.
They are waterproof as is the case.

The case is bright yellow easy to find both cap and case. The strike surface is large enough for all the matches inside. There is a spare inside. The matches burn hot and long not to long or short. I have one in my truck backpack and trailer. You never know when heat is needed. "˜Recommended'

These matches were incredible! As soon as they came, of course I opened them. I couldn't wait to test them to see how well they would do. I had a cup of water and I struck one of the matches and it lit immediately on the 1st try. I put the match inside the water held it for about 4 to 5 seconds. Lifted it up and the flame was still going. It does burn very quickly though just a heads up. I think the whole match was gone in about 8 seconds but it definitely is waterproof. After about 5 minutes, the flame will not reignite when you pull it back out.
