You should not sell this product (Large/XL) as suitable for use in up to #14 shoes. I have #11 shoes and this product did not match --not even close!. It you keep selling them in this way it can be called a scam.

I took my first trail hike with these yesterday. They really work! Stayed on my hiking boots well, and provided good traction for my 5-mile hike (80% of which was on snow/ice). The other 20% was on mud and rocks (interspersed with pockets of ice). My 4-star rating is because 2 of the 12 studs broke off, and I had to replace. My purchase came with 2 extra studs, so all is well. My guess is that the tungsten carbide studs are brittle (but they stayed really sharp). I ordered more replacement parts yesterday. I recommend this product, but it will take maintenance. Phil Mattson
