No rust (we hope).

my wife does a carrot pudding that her dad (who has passed away) and her Uncle loves. she has to make this in a 3 hour steam bath. The first pan rusted , we shall see how this holds up.
Nice!

This is a nice pudding steamer. I'm so glad I found it and purchased it.
Kitchen Craft Steammer

Great little steamer just the right size not to small, the lid is securely held in place when attached properly . Clean up is extremely easy , made steamed chocolate pudding for the holidays fantastic .
My favorite piece of cookware.

I bought this pot years ago, but didn't get around to trying it out until a month ago. Making steamed puddings seemed complicated and it took me that long to work up the nerve to give them a try. My breakthrough came when I read that one can use a slow cooker to do the steaming, so one doesn't have to stay close to the stove, making sure that the water doesn't boil off and burn the pudding. I found that by putting this pot into my slow cooker, set on high, that it will maintain the water level for as long as needed. I can set up the pudding to cook before going to work and it will be perfectly done by the time I come home (my Christmas pudding recipe called for a 10 hour steam).

This pot is solidly constructed with an obviously robust non-stick coating. I spray the inside with coconut oil and the cooked pudding pops out, perfectly. The quality of most affordable cookware has severely declined over the years in my observation. This item is a pleasant surprise and a true delight to use.
Perfect for Christmass pud n' custard

Perfect for Christmass pud n' custard. If you use frozen machine-chopped vegetable shortening instead of chopped beef or sheep suet you can increase the other ingredients to compensate. Also great for steak and kidney puddings(we didn't have steak, just a few tough cuts made soft in the steamer. A taste of the old country.
