I used this meter when I was refurbishing my hybrid battery.
One read the voltage the whole time (about 50 hours off and on, 10-20 hours on at a time)
The other was setup to read the amps.
The plugs go in pretty hard the first time, line it up just right and push firmly.

Works so far. I like on/of switch too. Bought more expensive one too, and it does not have that switch, so I like this meter better.
