Low cost and does its job well

This crossover does what its supposed to, and does it well. The frequency cutoff points are pretty basic for a standard 2-way crossover allowing low frequencies to be cut (50Hz-1.5kHz), while allowing a subwoofer to produce low frequency output(35-400Hz). Subwoofer bass boost dial provides up to a +12dB boost at 45Hz. Included is a sub level wired remote that comes with plenty of wire to reach the driver when mounting the crossover in the trunk. The product description is a little misleading, since it only provides 1 input and 2 outputs (front/rear & sub). A better option would be the SX310 (3-way crossover) which allows a dedicated input for each output (front/rear/sub). The SX210 claims 110db signal to noise ratio on paper, but I'm a bit hesitant on these numbers. I would recommend this crossover based on cost and the included bass remote. I personally feel that the SX310 is still a better choice however, since you are getting a 3-way crossover opposed to 2, even if your stereo head unit only comes with 1 set of preamp output.
If you have engine noise before adding this product it will amplify that problem as well.

I installed it inside my Polaris slingshot With six speakers and a sub woofer and it sounds great. It allows me to isolate my sound and it also comes with a bass control knob"¦ Great product
Good for purpose and future advice~

Good and Best for Car usages.
Advice:
1. An App to detect frequency is better~
2. Use LCD screen to set frequency is the best!
3. Add power on/off button for home usage~
4. Gold RCA
5. add SLOPE as 6 /12 / 48DB
6. change "Rear" frequency range the same as "Front" as more and more car have Tweeter in Rear Side.
SSL SX310 Crossover

I knew I was buying an enexpensive crossover, and was a bit leary of what to expect. The crossover looks fantastic, and I was impressed when I took it out of the box. It works quite well except that the level control for the Sub is a bit messed up. When it is turned all the way down there is a fuzzy pop before it reaches all the way down, like it shuts off before it should. This is the knob on the unit itself, and not the remote. (The remote works great) I plan on using the remote instead of the one on the unit, so I'm good with this. The rest of the unit works just fine. It would be nice if there was a little more resistance to the adjustments, so they won't self adjust over time, as this is going behind the interior panels in a stealth install. All in all, I'm pleased so far. I have the outputs from the sub circuit going into the front of a 4 channel amp for a couple Boss Audio NX10FD ONYX Subwoofer s, and the outputs from the 'rear' going to the rear of the same amp and to 2 8" subs in the doors (this way I can use the bass boost and low freq cut off from the amp, and the high freq cut off from the SSL, esentially a band pass from 60 to 300) then the 'front' of this crossover runs a couple 6-1/2 mids through a smaller 2 channel (with the same "band pass" setup from 300 to around 2500) Looking for good cheap options for highs now...
