beware - will not mount correctly to studs....
Paul✓ Verified Purchase•August 10, 2017
Horrible design - comes in two pieces that you have to bolt together - this impinges on the wall mounting bolt. Because it is in two identical pieces, the bolt spacing will NEVER line up on the studs. Metal is flimsy - way too light weight to trust mounting an expensive piece of electronics. The included level and cable are very low quality. I have no idea how they got this many positive reviews - so either, the unit shipped has changed over there are a lot of folks that don't care if the mount pulls out!
Works Great for 55" Vizio

Works as advertised. I used this bracket to mount my 55" Vizio TV. It's simple to install and has various mounting options.
One caution, the plastic level that comes with the bracket did not read level for me. A simple way to test it is to set it on a level surface, note the bubble location then flip it 1/2 over on the same surface. If the bubble is in the same place then the level is okay. This was not a big deal to me as I planned to use a "real" level anyway and not the cheap one in the box.

It's not bad. Ignore the fact you have to screw the side rails on, it's really not a big deal and once assembled it's very rigid. I have a similar one bought a t a big box store a few years back, I think it overall nicer. One thing, the set screws at the bottom of the chassis mount rails don't really hold it very tightly in place. I'd like it to be tighter, as the TV is lower for couch viewing and I want to be 100% sure no one is going to ever lift it off the mount - like a kid. Overall not bad.
The level sucks. That's for sure. Don't trust it. In the pic I uploaded you can see, it must be mounted at an angle. Liquid don't lie.

Used this bracket to mount a 70 inch Samsung. I read the reviews and cannot understand the complaints. This unit is two pieces that bolt together, so if you are mounting it by anchoring the center only you must make sure the bolts go one way to use the center holes on one side of the bracket. Better to anchor it between two studs, which is what I did. The bracket is not wide enough to span three studs (normally 16 inches on center) but it has ample holes to span the space between two studs. Measure carefully, including the TV (the span between the mounting arms) so you can center it on the wall if the bracket is mounted slightly off center to get four solid mounting points on the studs. Unless your studs are 24 inches on center, this bracket is wide enough to do it for any TV up to 70 inches. Comes with all the hardware you could possibly need, a magnetic level and a 10' HDMI cable. The only complaint I have is the bracket is close to the wall so if you have ham hands, make all your connections BEFORE hanging the TV on the bracket as getting your hands between the wall and the TV can be a bit tight.
Easy Project, Great Results.

First, a few words about construction. The hardest thing about putting this VideoSecu TV Mount together was deciphering the directions. The product is made in China and at times the translation gets a tad dicey. Some of the hardware is mislabeled on the packaging and the diagrams take a bit of staring at in order to match screws to the proper pieces needing connection. I finally found that, like I usually do with my ikea products, I pushed the directions aside and had at it. The level that came with the kit is a joke and useless so be certain to have a level that's at least two feet for ease of measuring. You'll need a socket wrench too. The home improvement chains sell them in kits for as low as $15 and they are great to have on hand for other needs around the house. I covered the wires hanging down--game console, power cord, etc--with a paintable wire track that organizes and hides them, about $13.
I used this mount for a 35" tv and it works like a charm. It was easy to slip the hooks that are secured to the back of the tv over the mount frame and then to tighten the security screws to keep it in place. The tilt function is intentionally stiff to avoid potential flopping of the tv face but a gentle push down or up creates the perfect angle. It was a great purchase for under $30.
