No other converter can come close to the Digital Stream. I even put them on my digital TV's because of the TV Guide that tells you of a lot of upcoming programs and it also helps a bit in pulling in stations stronger.too and has a signal meter to check the strength. Another feature is it has an update program where you can scan for TV stations and keep all the other stations that you have and do not have to start all over again each time you scan for new stations. Of course you can also do a NEW scan too and start Fresh if you want to.On the UPDATE you can turn your antenna in all the different directions that you want to scan and stop there on each direction then scan for updated channels and keep the channels you already have without loosing any channels you have in the system.No more turning the antenna and scanning at the same time and guessing if you got all the channels in that direction or not.This is a GREAT product and I have them on all my TV's,even the new flat screens that already has some of these features but they do not work as well as the Digital Stream features. I will not be without these.

Works beautifully. The unit came with a remote control AND batteries! (1) Attach an antenna (2) plug in (3) scan channels (4) BOOM! A ton of FREE, over-the-air channels that are converted from their standard digital signal into analog form that your older (non-digital) TVs can handle. Have had it for about 6 weeks and absolutely no issues.

Note: If you notice that your scan did not produce many channels, it is not the fault of this device. Consider moving your indoor antenna into a better location (less walls, near windows) or use an outdoor antenna. Afterwards, rescan for channels. The other issue, of course, relates to how remote your are from stations airing their content.

Best converter I've owned. Clear strong steady signal with NO "satellite" pixel fade out even during storms (who's idea was it anyway to take away the nice steady air tv analog signal and replace it with the spotty weather plagued digital signal that left most of us cursing and never knowing how a movie ended ? :)) Easy to set up and use. Plug in, select "Menu", "Channel", then "Auto Select". This picked up an additional 8 stations I didn't even know I had. If a station signal is too weak to come in, the converter displays that rather than giving u a crappy picture. Love the easy to use menu and the intuitive choices. The "epg" button gives u a daily listing, hitting "ok" on any listing gives u the detailed tv guide like detail summary, "exit" gets u back to your picture. I read the manual a few weeks later just to make sure I didn't miss anything.
This is a VERY well set up converter

***UPDATE*** So impressed that I bought a second box for my office a few days later. :) Ordered 3 days ago with free shipping and got it today! Easy to set up and the new antennae hasn't arrived yet so I just used the old $7 cheapest rabbit ears I had and it found and received more channels than other boxes in the past. I live way out in the country in the woods surrounded by trees and it still got the signal and played great on a 25 year old tv. Already planning on buying another one for the office! :)

We received our new Digital Stream digital pass-through box today. We're really stoked to have this! It's twenty dollars cheaper than the RCA box we just replaced.

Digital Stream works great, we have a lot more channels, a program guide for each channel, display options and much more that we didn't have with our previous box which we paid fifty dollars for.
I give it a rating of five for the price and the swift delivery.
