I have had San Diego Hat Company hats in the past, and still have and use them (10 plus years and still using them).

I pretty much can't go outside without a brimmed hat on, and my preference is the wide brimmed ones. but where do I put it while I'm dinning in a restaurant or etc, wide brimmed hats take up quite a bit of space to set them down, but this one rolls up.
And fits in a bag or purse or... luggage.

I love that it rolls up for traveling.
And I like that the top has the hole. Because sometimes I need to put my hair up but then hats don't fit... this one does.

The quality is great. And it works very well. You can bend and angle it as needed and it holds up well.

I love this visor hat thing! I bought this on impulse this summer after realizing that I needed some face protection from the sun while at the pool with my toddler. I wear this right into the water with my kiddo and it's held up so far despite the chlorine!
My favorite part about it is that it protects my hair from the water a little bit. My hair is long and curly and somewhat high-maintenance. I have been trying to find a way to keep it dry so that I don't have to do a full wash routine after every trip to the pool, while I still want to get in the water and play with my kid. I've given up on swim caps. But I was pleasantly surprised by this! I put my hair into a topknot and this hat over the top, and the brim provides some splash protection! As long as I don't go under or really jump around, my hair can still be mostly dry afterwards. I like having that flexibility.
I have a giant lady head and this is big enough for me. It wraps around with velcro tabs at the back, and there's still enough space that a larger head than mine could wear it. And it rolls up with a little elastic loop to fit around it, which is perfect for the pool bag.
All in all, I love this hat and I'm glad I got it!

I love it because I can wear my hair in a bun like usual, but if you have extra curly or big hair this may not be for you - one of my girlfriends with a significant amount tried it on and said she felt like Sideshow Bob. And she did maybe just a little bit. But when she wore her bun lower (not sticking out the top) it looked great, so there are options ;) I love getting whatever highlights I can from the sun, and I really like not having to worry about how to pack it when I go somewhere - rolls up pretty small. Provides full facial coverage (chin and jawline, too) Smart, quality product.

I wasn't sure about this hat when I ordered it. I was concerned about the fit as I have a small head. Also concerned about whether it was Old Ladyish! Shouldn't have worried....it fits perfectly (the Velcro tab on back is adjustable), looks cute and will keep the sun off my face. Extra bonus is that it folds up for traveling. Highly recommend this product.
