OK item, but one of three ordered came broken

Based on reviews I had read and the fact that this was a low priced item I knew that I ran the risk of getting something with a manufacturing defect. I purchased three of the binders and one came broken. The three ring mechanism had one of the rivets broken that attached it to the binder cover. I drilled out the broken rivet and reattached with a small cotter pin. My wife said, "just send it back", but it was easier for me to go down in the shop and just fix it myself rather than go through the hassle of a return. These binders are OK, just be prepared to repair or send back if you get a broken one.

Surprisingly well made for its price point. It has D rings in it instead of the typical circular so when it's very full with pictures it's still easily closed. The most critical thing I can think of to comment on would be the last page or two get the greatest stress on the Rings so those pages may try to tear which is easily fixed with your typical clear ring binder reinforcements that you can stick to the plastic and will not even see.

I purchased four albums and they were perfect for organizing all my photos. However on two of the four albums, one of the two grommets holding the ring mechanism to the cardboard binder pulled out, so I would recommend a better or stronger grommet be used, especially if the albums are going to be filled using all pages.

Item arrived intact and undamaged. It kind of reminds me of the old school albums that my parents/grandparents would pull out to show pictures except the paper is "archival quality". All in all it does what I bought it to do - hold a large amount of pictures for a decent price. You can only put the pictures in horizontally which isn't a big deal for me. Just wish it was slightly easier to get the pictures in the slots.
