I like the fabric and overall like the Monty fine, though ultimately I wish Kangol would produce a traditional beret for summer in the same knit fabric. This one can't help but look military....

It fits well and is of quality manufacture. I wish the over all size was a little smaller relative to the size of the band, but its a great hat.

I've always loved Kangol 504 Tropic hats and had never tried a beret. Now that I have, I love them too. The Tropic Monty fits perfectly and even if it did not, there's an adjustable headband. Great summer hat because if there's a breeze, I can feel it through the hat!
