Packaging and product when arrived appeared to be of good quality. Once product arrived I briefly checked functionality with no load and jack appeared to work as designed. I used the jack for the first time (09/19/2107) assisting a law enforcement officer and as I started to jack his patrol car up the jack stopped working. The light on the control switch turned off and the jack would not go up or down. I changed the fuse and still the jack did not work and a floor jack had to be used to complete the tire change. I then tried to use the manual crank to lower the jack to put it back in the case and that too would not work. The jack now sits in the bottom of the trash can.

I purchased this car jack 2 years ago and already used it about 8 times. I have 4 cars that always need work done, from rotating tires to lifting for an oil change. I've shown my college age daughters how to use it, this jack is a must have. It comes in its own case. This car jack is a good value. I would buy it again.
Not a good tool at all.
