I use this mix to make incredible Cranberry-Apricot muffins (use muffin recipe on box and add about 3/4 C. chopped dry apricots). It makes the best muffins ever! (I used to make a loaf but muffins are easier) Have made them for close to forty years and everyone loves them. Wish I could still find the mix in the store but @ $4.75 a dozen it makes the cost about 40 cents each. A lot cheaper than a candy bar and tastes a whole lot better! The dozen I bought were delivered August 11th and they have an expiration date of April 6, 202l. Oh, I sprinkle a little sugar on top of them before I bake them to get a nice lightly crisp and brown top.

I am so happy to find this Product!!!! No stores in my area carry it any more.....they used to but can't find it anymore. I use this to make my Fruitcakes every year with a recipe they used to print on their box, and not sure how I would make it without this mix! I hope they continue to provide it!!! It is a great product for a good price.

I bake this quick bread almost every other day. My family loves it and eats it as fast as I can fix it. You can follow the directions on the box, & after that you can add mashed banana's and chopped pecans to the batter prior to baking for a richer loaf of banana bread. (If you add banana's, you will need to refrigerate the bread or it will mold). If your family is adventurous, don't limit the fruit you add to just banana's. I have tried adding blue berries and strawberries, cut in small pieces and the bread was still very good. I always top mine off with powered sugar that has been mixed with a little bit of cream to make a thick white frosting. Once you apply the frosting (if it is thick) it will dry in about 5 minutes, so whenever you cover the bread the frosting will stay on the bread and not stick to the foil or saran wrap.
