works, but as with similar products you have to re-apply often. the smell isn't really "pleasant", per se... but it seems to be keeping the feral cats away and it certainly smells better than what the cats leave behind

Works like a charm and it's long-lasting. We used it outside (to keep a neighborhood cat from stalking our indoor cat and making her crazy), and we have seen the outdoor cat only once ... and away from the perimeter of the house. Plus it's not harmful to any outdoor animals or plants, and it works even after it rains. Just need to remember to reapply after about a month.

I used the product just like the directions on the bottle. The cats left while I was spraying the outdoor area where they live but they immediately returned and even laid on the area that was sprayed. It did not work at all!
