The vinyl keeper strap is too loose.

This is a basic vinyl cloth sheath with a very loose vinyl loop keeper. I wouldn't trust the strap to hold my knife in the sheath. Would buy the leather sheathes offered by others instead. They have a leather snap holder which ensures your knife won't fall out unexpectedly.

Nylon over plastic with a terribly weak Velcro secure strap.. It's cheap and unreliable. Recommend a better sheath.

It's OK, no flaws, and it fits my 110mm Terava Puuko. This is a decent sheath to house a knife that you throw in your glove box, but you probably wouldn't want to take it on a wilderness survival adventure. I got it for around $7 delivered, so I really can't critique it much. The velcro tab holds my puuko in place, but there is definitely some wiggle going on.
