I bought this tape to use for sealing the hoses and attachments to a portable AC unit. This works amazingly well and is very easy to use. I just peeled the brown backing off of the tape and applied it to the pieces attaching the hose to the unit and the window seam. This tape has been in place for about 3 months through extreme heat and rain. I haven't had any issues with peeling or the tape losing it's adhesion. I'm very happy.
Used for air leaks on AC/ furnace unit.

Worked great, easy to cut and peel off paper backing, easy to work with (but like aluminum foil, just be careful not to press too hard into a crease or it will tear or split. Gently push it and don't use your nail, or it will tear).
Worked perfectly and even used it to cover all the very sharp metal edges on the Ac/furnace,
after they installed it. Used it to completely cover a rusty vent that was leaking hot /cold air into the basement.
Now it's good and makes the heating/cooling more efficient.
Note: It will not stick to silicone caulk of any kind.

Purchased this tape to tape the sharp corners of the lid to our poultry feeder and under the handle of its lid. No water ever since we applied the tape. Same with the two galvanized trash cans we use to keep their feed in and the one for their pine shavings. Both feed and shavings have remained perfectly dry as there is no more leaking in either can! I definitely recommend this tape and would purchase it again!
