Perfect! It keeps my head warm in the winter, especially with the ear flaps. It protects my face and ears--I used to wear just caps, but then got skin cancer, even with using sunscreen. I am constantly getting compliments from people passing by on how great it looks! Never got so many compliments before for anything! I bought a second one so that I will be sure to have such a hat years from now should this one wear out.

Very nice hat. I like the fit and love that it has the ear flaps. I bought the darker brown one and am very pleased with the color. I am looking forward to wearing it a lot through this fall and winter as it's already getting cold here where I live. I will update this post after I give it a try in the rain and snow too. If it does well in our North Idaho climate then I'll be buying a black hat too.

My favorite winter hat. It was slightly large on me, so I put a small piece of weather strip material around the front on the inside behind the band. Once its fitted correctly, the wind won't blow it off. It's very warn, and the ear flaps are priceless in windy weather. I've been in snow, wet snow, and rain and my head has never gotten touched by any of it.
