When the hat arrived I was very unhappy (see pictures 2-3-4)! I was ready to give it a one-star rating and write a bad review. You can see from attached pictures how it looked at first - it was like an old gypsy hat and it was not possible to get it into the right shape. Also, the crown was too low and the hat was sitting on top of my head. I was already giving up and thought that my 60 euro was wasted for bad. Then I remembered I saw some video on youtube how these felt hats were made and I tried the same technique - there was nothing to lose. Basically I took a steam iron (regular iron you have at home) and a thin cotton kitchen towel. I made from pillow shape I needed for the side of the hat, put a hat on the pillow, covered with towel and then steamed with hot iron about 1-2 minutes. After that, I "shaped" the part of the hot and moist hat into a shape I wanted. I did the same procedure for the crown and in the end, I got the hat into pretty good shape and it sits well (see the first picture).

Looks and fits great. The quintessential cold weather hat.

I order a tan color and I received a hat with the tag information saying the color is putty and honestly I'm still trying to figure out what color it is the hat but I'm keeping the one I received since is a beautiful and the most important is a great quality hat, I can see in person why the price tag of $85 us dollar, my only hope is that the company who distribute this items in the us pay a fair amount of money to the people who really make them in china, otherwise I will be heart broken thinking that I'm helping someone getting rich in united states while the hard working people in china getting paid cents for this luxury items, because it is a luxury hat.
