If you have a deer problem, this tape really works but you need to follow the directions and use a repellent scented with mint.

This listing is for a roll of black barrier ribbon, not the complete Plotsaver system. By itself this ribbon will do nothing to keep deer out. The Plotsaver starter kit is listed as "PSK-100 PLOTSAVER Deer Repellent Starter Kit" here on Amazon, comes with a 840 foot roll of white ribbon and a small bottle of repellent solution concentrate. You'll also need support stakes and a means to apply the solution to the ribbon. Messina sells stakes here though I personally bought mine at the local farm supply store. The black ribbon is optional, I used the white ribbon around the garden and use the black in places where I don't want the ribbon to stand out against it's surroundings.
I both read user reviews here on Amazon and watched videos on YouTube about the Plotsaver system prior to purchasing it. Used properly, it has kept the deer out of our garden. They're still around and they still eat other stuff in the yard, but they do not cross the barrier and the garden remains untouched.

This product did not work at all, there were deer in our yard within 24 hours. Waste of time and money.
