Excellent call button without the monthly expense of other call buttons

This is my second purchase. Excellent product.. And after having the ones with a monthly charge this is such a relief. I have direct contact with 911 and have the option of having it dial a neighbor or family member of my choice.
So once this is paid for, there is no other charge. And it works perfectly. I have used it several times to call for an ambulance and once for the police when I heard someone trying to get in my back door.

Works Good But Limitations With Hospice Calling

BE ADVISED IF THE USER IS ON HOSPICE: I bought one for my 90 year old mother who is on hospice but still living at home. Hospice insisted that they be the first number entered in the system, so I did that, with me second, her friend third, and 911 fourth. Everything seemed in order for the first month until we were told by Hospice that an answering service took Hospices' calls between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. and that a live person doesn't answer the phone. What this means is that the medical alert system will hang up and dial the second person on the list. The system seems to work good other than the limitation I noted.

very simple to set up and use, no monthly plan....syncs up to the home phone line. helps ease our worry when we can't be home for the family member who is prone to falling. 4 stars because it is not actually water resistant.
Works. Remote is large though but for the money a good value.

Bought for mom in law. Works and she likes it. The remote is large but she puts it n her pocket or ties it around her waist with a ribbon. Wish it offered a remote that was necklace sized.

It is for my mother. She needs a way to contact me without having to actually dial the phone, but doesn't really need a medical alert button (or the cost of one). It is very light to wear around her neck and you can't accidentally make a call. You have to actually hold the button for 2 seconds. My mother is also hard of hearing and this phone is loud enough for her to hear conversations on. Having this available for my mother is great.
