I've had this for a few months now. It definitely makes having an electrical outlet in difficult and otherwise impossible places possible. My only gripe so far has been that the court doesn't always retract properly and takes some jerking around. Overall, I am happy with this product

It was tough picking a cord reel to mount on the ceiling. Everyone had mixed feelings about the reel they picked. My dad has had one similar to this for years so i picked this one.
Construction is robust. Be careful about keeping your hand on the cord as it retracts. I retracted it and wasn't holding onto it and the end came up and whacked me in the nuts. you have been warned.
