This is a no-go. Absolutely inaccurate. I have a regular arm style BP machine and it is within 2 points of my doctors machine. This thing is all over the map. I've tried raising my arm, lowering my arm, arm at heart level. I have never met a wrist BP machine I ever trusted. I thought the technology might have improved. Nope. Do not put yourself in danger. You need to know your correct BP. If they ever come out with a very portable arm unit, I'm in. Maybe.

I'm not really sure if this blood pressure monitor is accurate but it is easier to use than a traditional armband device. I've taken my pressure on both wrists one after the other and the readings are completely different. Maybe that's normal, but I didn't have that problem when I used a standard machine with an armband.
Highly recommend this unit for accuracy and convenience!

Great little machine. I keep my wrist at heart level as per instructions and get an accurate reading. I have double checked this at my doctors office against their machines and the numbers match up almost exactly. It is nice to have something bedside so that I can get a quick check on my B.P.. I have lost a lot of weight and my B.P. has dropped. It is nice to be able to check it twice a day to make sure I do not need my medications and to know if/when I would need to call my doctor. The case it comes with is an added bonus as are the batteries. I highly recommend this machines!

Had to read directions a couple of times before i got all of the subtleties. 1. You have to wear the control unit on the INSIDE of your wrist. 2. Your wrist with the monitor had to be resting at the same level as your heart. I sit at a table and put something soft under my hand.
Never had such an easy BP monitor. So glad I tried it. It's reassuring to be able to take daily readings...

The doctor said monitor my blood pressure, I am borderline hyper tense. My old one you held to your heart, these new ones though hold your wrist in front of your chest and it reads the heart beat too. It is probably infrared detector but it could be telepathic intelligent device from ET. But in the end it works, and less time with it pumping and then giving all three readings at once and deflate completely .
