Great device

Hooked this up to my motorcycle battery and used ties to secure it. I no longer need to remove the seat to charge the battery and the indicator lets me know when it's running low on juice. Great deal for this time saver.
Works and I Like it.

Great addition to my CTEK trickle charger...gives me a quick glance look at the condition of the car battery.
Works as advertised. Very good product for piece of mind.

You put these on your car batteries to know where they stand in way of charge at any time If the like is blinking RED, you REALLY need to charge right away and the charging unit will actually try to fix your battery. If it blinks AMBER, your battery is loosing power and should be brought back up to charge with the charger. If it is blinking GREEN.. you are OK

Works perfectly, but you need to remember that the performance of the indicator lights as well as the charger are only as good as the connections between them and the battery. Any time I make a bolted battery connection, I make sure the terminals are free from all dirt and corrosion and then coat all the metal surfaces (wire contacts, exposed wire conductor and battery terminals) with a layer of NO-OX-ID A-Special- Electrical Contact Grease. Please take note, I have never purchased from the seller I linked to, but it's the best deal I see on Amazon at the moment. I use No-Ox on every electrical contact I make on all my vehicles and I cannot stress enough how great this product is for completely eliminating corrosion on all electrical connections. So I coated the rings with No-Ox (my battery terminals were already coated) installed on my battery terminals and then used a couple four inch cable ties to secure the loose end of the cord and I was ready to go. I will also add that I coated the plug end with No-Ox as well. I know the plug has a rubber boot designed to keep water out, but I like the extra protection. I'm an "over-the-road" truck driver and am often gone for a month at a time. During that time my car has a tendency to slowly drain its battery, but with the CTEK charger (56-353) MULTI US 7002 that is a problem of the past. I have three Schumacher Battery Maintainers that I use on my power equipment, and I've used those on my car as well, but the the CTEK charger and cord combo are far better. The CTEK cord allows me to visually get an approximation of the condition of my battery so I know if I need to plug in to the charger or not.
Nice device

Pretty cool being able to look at a glance and get an idea how charged your battery is. A little over sensitive for sure but with my Boxster hopefully it's going to save me money on battery replacements. I've been going through one a year for the last three.
I'm only showing a 35 milliamp draw when parked but if three weeks go by the battery discharges enough that it won't recover.
I also purchased the CTEK 4300 after learning it was the same unit sold as a Porsche charger at nearly half the price.
