Great weighted vest, but it's a little misleading about the max weight capacity. You have to double up on the weights for a single slot to make it to a heavier weight. On the large vest I think it carried around 16-18 lb before I had to double up to get to 20. It still cares the weight but it clearly was not made for it.

This was a great buy and worth every penny. This vest fits perfectly, I ordered the large large, I am 5'9 155 pounds. So glad I added this piece of equipment to my daily workout and from the look and feel of this, it can take the daily beating I intend to give it!

I use to where a different weight vest that had larger weights. It was to bulky and I couldn't where it under my clothes. Hyper Vest is compact and I can where it under my clothes. It is barely noticeable. Great for going on long walks; burn that fat. Where it to work. At break time, walk up and down the stairs, walk out to your car, keep moving don't sit at your desk, stand more. You will love this Vest!

Way overpriced due to poor durability. When I lifted the vest up to put it on for the first time, with it having only the pre-installed 10lbs of weight loaded in it, I could hear tiny popping sounds where pieces of the stitching were breaking inside the edge stitching on back of the neck-area of the vest. Unnacceptable!

The manufacturer knows there is a durability issue with their product and their lame solution is to have the customer expend time and energy to return the vest for another poor-durability vest replacement.

Hey, Hyperwear, before you post a reply to this post like you have other reveiwers who have noted the poor quality of this vest's durability.... realize that us going through the hastle of sending back and replacing with another poor-durability vest is not a solution! It is an absolute UNSAT situation to spend almost $200 for a weight vest that begins to fall apart right out of the box.

I won't waste my money buying the overpriced weight-booster pack now because I don't expect the vest to last long enough based on my own experience and also the many other reviewers having durability problems (5lbs extra weight for $39 is also highway robbery).

I will just chalk it up to "buyer beware" and do my own stitching to keep this vest from falling apart.

It is such a shame because the vest is great except for this critical flaw of poor durability/quality.... making it's high purchase cost laughable.

The vest is very comfortable to wear. It's not bulky like other weight vests I've tried and I don't overheat wearing it as I did with the bulkier vests. The snug fit also places the weight at your core taking stress off of the shoulders. I find that the vest does run small so I returned the medium for a large. It's definitely worth the price and the customer service at Hyperwear is great.
