Pretty much what I expected (maybe a bit smaller than I thought it would be). Not high quality and certainly not the most secure lockbox. However, I just needed a place to store a few documents and items in my part-time office that I use once a week. The handle on top does it make it more portable though I so far haven't had to use that feature. The lock is a bit flimsy but it's really not meant for heavy duty security.

Very simple lock box but definitely NOT secure. Thin metal and very very very simple lock. There were times when the key didn't work to lock and unlock. Use it to keep things organized and not secured.

Very flimsy anyone could bust this open half the time I can't get it to lock
Just what I needed for basic, compact storage of 8x11 size papers and notebooks.

5 stars based on my use of the product, which doesn't include using the lock or carrying the box around. I needed a compact metal box to store some papers and standard size spiral notebooks in. This works perfectly. It's size makes it easy to store in a closet or small space. For what I needed - some very basic storage - it's perfect.

I guess this can give you some peace of mind, but I don't see how anything so thin and not that great a quality could provide much protection other than from a nosy relative or pesky kid getting into it.
Anyone that really wants access will gain access with relatively little effort.
