This works great! So much better than other cheese slicers I have tried in the past. No chunks of cheese left on the brick after slicing - this slices the whole way down - very nice!
Disappointing but not awful

A nice idea, but the white handles that hold the blade tend to separate while slicing so if you are not careful you will get a wider slice than you wanted. Half the time I just use a knife.
Does not cut it........

Neither my wife or I could get it to work. Takes a lot of hand pressure, and hard to keep slice even. I would not recommend.
One of the best cheese slicers I have owned

One of the best cheese slicers I have owned, better than the wire type and so far seems durable. It can cut through hard cheese fairly easy and relatively even, but do not expect to cut paper thin; 1/16" to an 1/8" is doable.
It works!!

Even slices every time. Finally we own a cheese slicer that is easy to clean and actually works.
