After getting the correct software downloaded from the retailer, works great. Tho no software yet for windows 8 so I haven't upgraded to windows 8 yet, I depend too much on the reader for logging into web sites.

Compre 2 lectores. El primero funciona perfecto me llego a tiempo (para utilizarlo se debe bajar de Internet los controladores), pero con el segundo nunca llego (no dependió del vendedor, el problema fue con el transporte). Finalmente el vendedor me reembolso el costo total exceptuando lo del envÃo. Estoy satisfecho, recomiendo ampliamente este producto.

This reader works great. if not, HID (The RFID) people/Fargo Printers/Indala would have not snatched them up and rebadged them. When these are gone you will be paying $150-$400 for the same reader with HID on it. You must enroll your prints and place your finger all the way on the reader for it to work. Not lite like some of the cheap "toy" readers. Anti-Skid bottom. These readers are used with ID badge printing software, Time and attendance systems, and 2nd authentication methods for some websites and proprietary software packages. You can enroll as many fingers and people as you need to with this as long as your PC has the space (Each record is very small) so your whole family or a large number of employees can all log in W/O passwords.
