Support Both Your Ankle and Your Budget!

Sprained my ankle bad a few weeks ago. Old basketball injury back to haunt me. Woman finally made me go to Ankle Institute. I don't have insurance. Doc said no broken bones but bad tendon sprain. $70 bucks for an ASO ankle brace like this one but with tie-laces.
I said, "I don't like insurance companies and this is why. Thanks but no thanks. Gonna check Amazon and eBay instead".
Found the same brace the AI was offering and was surprised by the low price of $30. Not used - new.
Plus the fact that it was actually BETTER than the AI's version because it uses Velcro laces. Awesome!

5 areas of support. You got two short Velcro laces that cross over the top of the foot and attach to either side of the arch. You got two long straps that go under the arch and Velcro to either side of your leg above the ankle. Finally a wide brace that runs across the leg near the lowest part of the shin. You can make this as tight as you can stand due to the stretchy material and strong Velcro.

I wear a sock underneath to prevent itching and irritation.
I have washed and dried it in a standard washing machine and dryer with no issues.
I have gone swimming with it on in chlorinated and salt-system pools with no issues.
This brace is perfect. You can even put it on one handed.

Otherwise product is comfortable and does the job

It's a little smaller. My foot is a 9 1/2, I got the large and it just fits. Otherwise product is comfortable and does the job.
Highly recommend

We bought this for my son after he rolled his ankle. I had him try many on in the store and asked around for the best brace for support. I have friends that work in physical therapy. Everyone had recommended this kind of brace. And my son said it felt the best as far as stability. Still has it and uses it when he needs it.Will definitely buy another if we need to in the future.
Speed-lace feature totally rocks !

Totally love these! I have been using lace up ankle braces for several years and it is a tedious and annoying process to get them on and off. The "speed lace" concept on these braces is brilliant! So easy to put on and off! The only down side I see is that with so much Velcro all over, they probably will not last as long as previous pairs because Velcro just wears out. So you might have to replace them sooner than you would with the non speed lace version. But I'm sold on the speed laces- totally awesome feature!
I love that adjustments with the fast lace brace

My doctor gave a similar brace, but it required lacing and I found that as the day progressed when my ankle and foot would swell that adjusting it was a challenge and time consuming. ....I love that adjustments with the fast lace brace...they are quick!
One warning, because of the fast lace design the wider velcro surface area means all the straps stick which simply means that the velcro can stick where you don't want it, but you can reposition it because it is Velcro!
