Size 16 foot and xxl fits nice. At 61 years old my left ankle joint shifted enough that i get stabbing pain when walking.
The $53 avast in nice but what a pain to on and off.
This unit is tops with speed lacer and soft boot i can wear in my Keens.
Also i can slip a silicone support in boot for my arch.

We bought this for my son after he rolled his ankle. I had him try many on in the store and asked around for the best brace for support. I have friends that work in physical therapy. Everyone had recommended this kind of brace. And my son said it felt the best as far as stability. Still has it and uses it when he needs it.Will definitely buy another if we need to in the future.

Totally love these! I have been using lace up ankle braces for several years and it is a tedious and annoying process to get them on and off. The "speed lace" concept on these braces is brilliant! So easy to put on and off! The only down side I see is that with so much Velcro all over, they probably will not last as long as previous pairs because Velcro just wears out. So you might have to replace them sooner than you would with the non speed lace version. But I'm sold on the speed laces- totally awesome feature!

These speed laces are much easier to get on than the traditional shoe type laces. I have both now and I find that these are so much faster to put on and take off. I rolled my ankle playing tennis and with these on I don't have to worry about it as I feel confident when wearing these.

Got this after my insurance company wanted $70 for essentially the same thing. Apparently I couldn't be trusted to figure out how to put it on myself, and had to have someone show me. I told them to get bent and got this one, and I am SOOOOO glad I did! I have peroneal tendonitis, and this supports my ankle not unlike how you'd wrap an ankle after a sprain, but it really eliminates the side-to-side motion, which is what was causing me pain. I've been wearing it for a month now, and it's been heavenly. Before, being on my feet for a couple hours would cause me agonizing pain. Wearing this, I was able to lead my scout troop on a 5-mile hike with no issues.
