Outstanding customer service

Well when I bought it in Jan of 2023, hooked it up and it was divine and sounded great. 11 months later the cantilever just randomly falls out with no warning while playing a MoFi record. I have never had anything like this happen before. I contacted Ortofon since amazon only has a 30 return policy, and I am waiting to hear back. Yes it was installed properly and aligned with 1.5g tracking force. Edit Ortofon replaced it no problems, now it is working great.
A slice of the Allaerts and better than black?

Ok, after 100 hours of break in, I think I finally have a handle on this great cartridge. I've also heard the blue and black (or black and blue?). And compared it to my reference Allaerts MC1 eco. The latter is a stupendous cartridge, and is in another price league as well. So the bronze is remarkable for giving a BIG slice of the Allaerts, The bronze has an excellent soundstage with good width, decent depth, separation of instruments and tonal accuracy. The blue is rough around the edges, and not nearly as good as separating voices and instruments, but good for the price. The black is rich and smooth, but the highs are rolled off and voices and instruments are congealed. I returned it. You'll love the black if you want lush. Back to the bronze, the area where it is destroyed by the Allaerts is, as others have suggested, in the bass. The fundamentals are only suggested, or if there, without power needed to pin you back to your seat, which my reference does to startling effect. But look, the price difference, plus not needing an MC phono preamp, makes the bronze simply phenomenal. It does benefit from over 100 hours of break in; before that you'll get detail but a thin sound. Let it break in, and if tonal accuracy and separation of voices/instruments float your boat, this cartridge is a steal.
Wonderful upgrade

I purchased a Project Debut Carbon last year with the default Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. After a few months and much review reading, I decided to buy a 2M Blue stylus from Amazon, which is compatible with the Red cartridge. There was a noticeable but moderate improvement in sound, and the more I used the cartridge the better it sounded. After a lot more review reading and coveting, I decided to bite the budget bullet and order the 2M Bronze cartridge from Amazon. I received it in two days shipping (from coast to coast) and installed it immediately. Both my brother and I noticed the difference instantly, without waiting through a break-in period, so it may only get better. A very noticeable improvement in sound, with much better clarity and a better soundstage. The highs seem somewhat better, and the base is about like before, very good. I also hear less needle dragging through the tracks The snaps, crackles and pops of old LPs are still there, but sound a little tighter. If I could do this over, I'd go straight from Red to Bronze and skip the expense of the mid step. My brother and I couldn't stop listening, it was that good.
Blown away !

This cartridge sounds magnificent! Unbelievable sound details & clarity. I replaced an AudioTechnica cart on my Technics 'table. I was just going to 'try it out' and maybe return it since its a bit expensive. Installed, aligned, and adjusted per Ortofon... WOW! Just wow. Makes music come alive - Jazz, Big Band, Classic Rock, all sounding awesome with this cart. I've had Ortofon Red (stock on Pro-Ject table), and two different Audio-Technica carts ; this is by far the most enjoyable experience for listening to vinyl I've ever had. If this one is within your means and you appreciate details, go get it. I will say that at the beginning, it is - as others have reported - a bit bright , but it settles down quickly.
