Shoe Scraper with Portable Base - Boot Scrubber with Cleaning Brushes for All Shoe Sizes

Key features
- •LONG-LASTING DEPENDABILITY: The Original Scrusher has a weather-resistant UV powder coated finish to handle any wet contact and the six rubber feet prevent scratching.
- •YEAR-ROUND USE: The Scrusher is designed with year-round use in mind, so you can use it no matter the season. The hard maple wood brush sets keep the bristles in place year-round, whether you use it for snow removal in the winter or sand removal at the lake cabin.
- •FEATURES: As the name says, this Original Scrusher comes with a portable base to keep the Scrusher in place when cleaning footwear. Also, the side bristles are made of softer poly, which won't scratch shoes, and the bottom bristles thoroughly clean soles of footwear.
- •NOT JUST FOR BOOTS: Although Marcia Meshbesher's idea of the Scrusher first led to the golf shoe SCRUSHER shoe brush, a simple household shoe and boot cleaner version of the Scrusher was created to give everyone the opportunity for clean shoes.
- •MADE IN THE USA: All Scrusher boot brushes are proudly made and assembled in the USA.

Excellent product to clean shoes and boots
HANDYWOMAN•September 18, 2017
This boot/shoe cleaner works very well to keep the dirt out of the house, and in the garage or wherever you keep the brush cleaner. Having it already mounted on a base made it ready to use right out of the box. I put some heavy felts pads on the metal parts where you step on to hold the unit in place as in other reviews they mentioned that the metal scratched and rusted. The felt seems to be working very well.
Great Product!

We live in an area with very sandy soil. I use this every day to clean my shoes at the back door to keep from bringing in a lot of dirt on my shoes. These really clean the bottom and sides of shoes well. You do need to remember to clean the back of your heel though, since there is no brush that covers that area. I don't see how they could engineer one on this device either, so just remember to turn you foot sideways and clean that area off too. I was amazed at the amount of dirt this collected in one day, considering that we have not had any rain in over a week. The plate below the brushes was covered with about 1/16th of an inch of sand or more in one day! Great product, well worth the money. Built sturdy and should last.
Leaves the Farm (dirt) Outside

We live on a farm and my husband absolutely refuses to take his boots off before coming into the house. This shoe brush is convenient and does a great job. He doesn't even have to bend over to brush his boots off. I may get another one for my other door.
Built tough to last and works great

The Scrusher works great. It cleans the bottom and sides of my shoes easily so I'm not tracking mud and debris inside. I especially like the design where I can stand on the heavy steel plate to keep the brush from moving while scrubbing my shoes through the brushes. I use the Scrusher several times a day after walking my Chocolate Labrador Retriever through the mud and water soaked woods and the more I use it the more I like it. I plan to buy another one or two to put at other entrances and in my workshop area. It's heavy duty construction will provide many years of use for me.
Clear coat the metal to make it last

Because I
- live in a warm and humid place,
- the brush would not be sheltered from the elements, and
- I read all the reviews concerning rust
I chose to buy a clear enamel spray paint that is made to resist fading and rust with this order. When I received the items, I covered the brush and wood portion and then sprayed several coats of the clear enamel on it. I then let it air dry for a day before using it. Painting it likely voids any warranty and makes it non-returnable but I chose to take the chance since the brush alone has such good reviews.
It's been sitting out in the elements for 2.5 months. It gets rained on as well as near 100F direct sun but still looks good as new. I know that 2.5 months isn't that long but some people showed rust that quickly and mine is definitely getting a weather beating. It is not heavily used but it is used and will be more so come cooler weather. Note that we don't have rocky terrain here so there have been no scratches to the surface from rocks being stuck in the soles and it is used almost exclusively with soft soled military boots.
If it does rust, I will try to remember to update the review. If you read this in a year and are wondering, shoot me a comment and I will let you know.
