This product was east to prep for and apply. If I'd had some painters tape to give it crisp lines it would have been very nice. It is durable and does not come off. I tried scraping off where it had run down to my boot sole, and could not remove once dry.

I use running shoes for tennis. The court surface was tearing holes in my shoes like nobody's business. This sealed the holes and is greatly extending the life of my shoes while playing tennis. It won't last forever, but totally worth it for the price.

The jar comes with enough for ~2 full applications on the toe. That's 2 pairs of shoes or 4 shoes total. Unfortunately once opened you have to use it within about a week.

Be careful when applying, this stuff is messy!

FYI, the finished surface doesn't look "nice" but it certainly does the job. Will definitely buy this again.

This is the first product review I've ever done (good or bad) in all my years of using Amazon.

I bought this product for the boots in the first two pictures. I am a firefighter/paramedic who specializes in technical rescue. That pair of boots had severely worn/damaged toes. I cleaned them up, sanded them per the instructions, taped them off (thanks to other reviewers comments/pictures) and coated them. After two hours I applied a second coat. The next week I had a week long confined space training where I drug the toes of these boots all across concrete, ribbed tunnels, and down brick walls. They held up fantastic! They are now a month in to hard use and show no signs of peeling, scuffing, or wear.

I am so impressed I wanted to do another pair of brand new boots I have in holding for when my other pair wears out. Those are the boots in the last three pictures. I was still able to use the product after 4 weeks in my shop. The company says it won't last that long but when I sealed it up I placed a plastic baggy over the open top and then screwed the lid on. Seemed to have worked.

I would buy this product again all day long. I will not put a new pair of boots in service again without putting this product on first.

I wear steel toe work boots that are leather, and my older pair had some steel toe showing.
This product held up during a fence build, breaking asphalt with a digging bar, bending metal wire fencing- without a single issue.

Worked so well I decided to try it on the upper part of the boot leather that had torn. I used a small piece of duct tape on the backside and it worked!

The pic is what it looks like when it dries (shiny) and the other boots are what i did the most work in.

I used masking tape on the sole of the boots because the stuff does drip a little.

I suggest using a foam paint brush instead of the applicator because that's the only way to get a neat line.

Use in a well ventilated area, or enjoy a little head high from fumes ðŸ'ƒ

Don't skip the stir for 1 minute step!! I applied like 4 coats. My toes had holes in it showing steel. This covered it up. I taped 1 boot, and free handed the other. It is like a hard rubber. I wish the liquid was a little thicker. It will run. Doesn't look bad at all. I will update and see how long it lasts. I recommend it though.
