Beautiful workmanship with the exception that on the bottom inside of the box it was still sticky from the finish. When I first received it and noticed this, I kept the lid off to give it a chance to dry, but it never dried after 5 days. This is the only reason I did not give it five stars. But I will order another one to replace it because the quality is excellent.

This is a well-made shoe shining valet. I had hoped it would allow me to store bottles of conditioner, polish and more but it is on the small side. Not as deep so bottles won't fit. Nevertheless, the other models shown had inferior hinges. This model has a sliding top so there is no issue with hinges. The cedar wood smells wonderful and can enhance anyone's closet. I would recommend this model although you are limited for storage space inside.

Really a nice shoe shine box. I love smelling the cedar when I open it up to remove my supplies. My only complaint is that the lid slides too easily, but I handled thi by going to the hardware store, and getting a small latch to put on it.
