The model looks great, and my 9 year-old son did it as his first one with very little guidance. However, the hole in the plane for the base is defective (has a piece of molded plastic jutting out) and so it won't mount on the base.

the 13 piece item is not 13 pieces but 11 and two of those are a 2 piece stand! the description says screw together.. it is snap together with no screw or included screwdriver. oops.. no just deception.
