Attractive colors. Keep sodas from splashing all over the golf cart.

Attractive colored flaps on translucent lids. They fit well on typical soda and tea cans. If the cans are tipped, liquids will spill a bit. The flap snaps into place easily and pops up without too much pressure. I bought the covers to prevent my sodas from splashing while in my moving golf cart (I used to have to hold the can while pushing the cart to prevent splashing.) The flaps are not super strong, but should last a reasonable amount of time if care is taken opening and closing tthem.

During the warmer months I go through a lot of cans of flavored seltzer water and sometimes I don't want to finish a whole can. So in search of something that might allow me to seal it back up and put in fridge, I bought these caps.
While they will certainly "protect" from bugs, dirt and whatever, they do NOT keep the drink fizzy.
Every one of them my drinks went flat within hours and without these they would have lasted the same amount of time.
So they do 1 of the 2 things they say they do.

we drink a lot of ginger ale with cocktails and only will use about half a can at a time. this cap covers the can simply and easily to keep it relatively fresh until the next use. it is NOT airtight - the beverage will start to go flat immediately, but it does give it some protection/.seal for a day or so. they're a handy little tool, but if you are looking for an air-tight seal, or something that will keep the carbonation as-is, this product is not it.

Fits both 12 oz can and 7.5 oz cans. I don't know how, but it does. This is best as a way to cover an unfinished drink for a short period of time or if you sip on a drink throughout the day and don't want anything to get into it. I don't think it will keep a soda fizzy overnight or for several days.
Also, if you knock over your can, it's not gonna protect from a spill. I take the cap off to drink because a little liquid tends to pool on the stop of the can and will drip on you when you take the next sip.

I mainly bought these to keep the fizz in my sodas that I rarely drink in one sitting (did you know there's 10 teaspoons of sugar in one little can of soda??) and they do the trick even a day later in the fridge. They're also great for keeping bugs out and minimal spillage if tipped over. Definitely NOT leakproof but I don't think that was a claim so no marks against these for that. Highly recommended!
