Didn’t work the right way...

We bought this to get rid of the bunnies eating our landscaping. But if you consider a squirrel getting in there and trying to get out so hard that he tore up his body and killed him self working than I guess it will serve it's purpose if that's what your looking to do

the door had bars missing and was to small for the cage the animal was able to get out with a spoon full of peanut butter
and the pad the spring the trap snapped off

received it with no assembly instructions and parts didn't fit like I thought they should. I'm giving this 3 stars simply because I think my unit simply slipped through the cracks and they did refund my money. would love to see what others think.
but I set it up to learn the technique and found it very simple and easy to use

Well, we haven't been able to use it yet as our rat left on its own accord before the cage arrived, but I set it up to learn the technique and found it very simple and easy to use. If ever we have an issue with small animals in the future, we will not hesitate to safely and humanely trap-and-release.
Waste of time

Do not buy! It's a complete waste of money. The door doesn't work, unless you can set it to the perfect balance and even if you did the door is not going to close because there is not enough weight on it. There were no instructions and I had to trim all the wires just to give it a chance to close without snagging on something. Seriously I just can't believe I waited so long to open it up that the 30 day return policy had expired. Spend a little more and save yourself the time.
