You get what you pay for applies here. The pattern is pretty enough and the stitching is fine but the fabric that goes under the mattress is difficult to describe but it is very thin and easily torn. It's similar to the fabric that is usually under a sofa. The eyelet fabric is also very thin. I can see where the box springs stops and the space under the bed begins. It's like my bed skirt needs a slip because it is too see-through. There is also a small spot of what appears to be blood on the ruffle. If money is your only concern this would be an ok buy but if you are looking for quality you should look elsewhere.

I absolutely love the design and color of this bed-skirt, but I find that it slides downwards over time - especially when I change my bed-sheets and shift the mattress around a little bit. Keeping it perfectly in place so that the bed-skirt doesn't look like it's sweeping the floor requires the mattress being lifted and being place on top precisely (which is usually a two person job). I fully acknowledge, however, that I may be experiencing the sliding-downward-effect more because I have a metal bed-frame that doesn't lend itself to frictional stability. I've made adjustments by tying the bed-skirt onto the bed-frame (sort of like what you would see in the inner fabric of a duvet cover to keep the duvet in place), but it would be nice if this were already built into the bed-skirt.

Very pretty Bedskirt, matches bedside table lampshades. It is not to girly-girl at all; I am quite adult, a grandmother in fact, but I like this bedskirt, so tired of looking at bed frame! and one not so inclined to stub your toe on bed frame wheels.

Dust ruffle works for grandchildren's room

The only thing I did not like about this dust ruffle is that the material is polyester microfiber and not cotton. I knew this before buying and decided that the cost fit the bill for where I wanted to use it and so went ahead and got it. Though cotton would have more body, this dust ruffle looks pretty good. I am using it in a bunk room with three twin beds for three grandchildre, so I did not feel that something expensive would be appropriate. I actually have another dust ruffle just like this on another of the beds and it is fine there as well. Due to the styling of the third bed, I chose not to have a dust ruffle on it at all. I like that the ruffle is attached to a platform that is easy to place across the box springs. Because my grandchildren are active, I did not think a ruffle that just stretched around the bed would work as well as this one.

I was looking for an eyelet bedskirt sewed onto a sheet type, this fit the bill. I ordered a queen, even though I have a full size bed, but I have thick
mattress and box springs, plus it was a higher bed. Would have given 5 stars if the corners were split. Eyelet ruffle goes down the sides and bottom, not at the head if you are needing on all sides. I hate using those pins in the mattress and this does not shift once in place.
