This bedskirt runs large for a standard twin bed. I had to take in 4 inches ( a 2" deep pleat) the whole length of the top so that it would fit squarely on the box spring. Not a big deal, but necessary if you don't want the skirt dragging on the floor a couple inches. It looks great - polyester fabric seems like it will keep looking fresh and not need ironing. I'm very happy with the final look and it was just what I wanted to go with the country quilts on the beds.
