I bought this for a gift to my 10 year old on Christmas. I believe it arrived several days before the estimated delivery date and was packaged nicely.
My daughter was so excited to open this (and she initially thought it was only a case for her quickly growing collection!). You should've seen her face when I told her all the makeup pictured on the box was included inside lol. She opened and tested every item and seemed very pleased!
The way it is packaged in the case leads you to believe that the entire case is full of makeup, but it was only the pieces shown on each of the 4 sides. I will admit to that clever marketing, though! However, I do feel like maybe I could've gotten a similar kit for a little less money, but without actually shopping around and testing quality vs pricing, my statement doesn't carry much weight.
In the end, I am very satisfied with my purchase and my daughter seems very happy! Also, from what I've seen of her trying pieces here and there, the pigments are pretty true to package representation and the colors seem to blend well, which is especially important for a beginning starting out practicing! And my initial disappointment of the case not actually being full turned out to leave just enough room in the case for the makeup items she already owned, which means less space to take up and that makes a happy mom!

I would like to give this item a 3 1/2 star rating, but the quality of the item pushed me to opting for a 4 star rating. Why no 5 star rating? Although there are a few dozen different colors/types of make-up, all are tiny sample-size or tester size pots and tubes of make-up (with three very small bottles of nail polish with scant pedicure/manicure items) with most items almost too small to use more than a time or two (although testers are always helpful when figuring our what color looks good/bad and so on). The interior of the case held a very large silver cardboard box (which I filled with some "real-sized" make-up palettes and tools as this was meant to be a gift for a 17 year old girl). The case is a rather small-sized train case without trays or dividers inside like some I have owned (although the description did not note there were dividers etc.).

I probably would not buy this again primarily based on price as I feel I could have purchased a similar case and added several nice nontester-size palettes of make-up and kits and the like (especially readily available during the holiday season) for a similar price, however this arrived in excellent time, was well-packaged (nothing broken/cracked etc) and ultimately saved me some time.

I bought this for our one granddaughter who is starting to wear make up she got so excited when she unwrapped it ,she will always remember her first make up kit ,also bought her a light up mirror to go with it she loved that to.

This was nice!

Good set great for people who are starting out with makeup. Is good for someone who is just learning how to do makeup and it is costly to buy.
