these little trains work great. We've had about half a dozen of them ...

As always, these little trains work great. We've had about half a dozen of them go through the clothes washer AND dryer, and they STILL work just like day one (lights, sounds, everything). These toys are sturdy and GREAT quality and we are so pleased with them. Just know that sometimes, Target has them for way cheaper than Amazon, so check the toy section while you're in there from time to time! One time, we found Henry at Target for about $9, but he was on Amazon for 4x the price!
Well worth the purchase. However, if they make a talking version with lights, buy it instead. If not, buy this one.

These die cast Thomas the Train characters are great. Very good quality. They are small in size - I hope you realize that. The one down side to some of these is that some of these like this one are not the talking version with LED light. We much more enjoy the talking ones with lights but then again, my 2 year old boy loves all of them including this non-talking "James".
Excellent choice for my two-years-old son

Excellent choice for my two-years-old son, he loves this TV show and make me watch it with him over and over again (Excelente opcion para mi hijo de 2 años, él ama el programa de television y me hace verlo junto con él una y otra vez)..
This is Take N Play and doesn't work on the regular wood tracks

The wheels are closer on this one so it is meant for the take n play series tracks and portable sets.
That being said, I love how it is crafted and it is very engaging because with a push of a button it utters different clear phrases.
Wish they could make these for the regular tracks.
One more thing, there is a magnetic pull in front of the caboose. Genious. Why don't all the trains have this-!?

Good toy but....

Worked great for two weeks. Then didn't talk anymore. Same with Thomas so don't think it was a bad one. Train is still a great little train though not sure I will spend the extra money for one that talks again. I will say my son was ecstatic when it talked.
