I ordered 3 of these skirts in different colors. They all came with the bottoms unhemmed with ragged stitching throughout. Did I just happen to get 3 unfinished products?
One of them still even had the color markings along the edge where they cut the fabric.
It is difficult to find a 21" skirt and it's does fit very nicely. The edges around the split corners are not hemmed either but because it is ruffled you can't really see it. You would probably pay at least $20 for the fabric if you were going to make one yourself so if you sew it may be worth it to quickly hem it. I asked 3 of my friends their opinion about the color and all 3 noticed the unfinished edges without me mentioning it.

First off, I really am very pleased with this bedskirt. I did much research before settling on this brand. I bought the 18" drop and it covers very nicely on a metal platform bed, not see through in the least. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the material on the platform part of the bedskirt is very, very thin and after 1 wash developed a few small holes. I worry it will rip with further washing. I did have to iron the skirt, which had a nice heft to it, after drying, but, it took less than 10 minutes. It really polishes off the look of the new full size bed. The plastic package it came in had that horrible plastic smell, luckily after washing the skirt was fine. Overall I am very happy.

The dust ruffle looks great with my quilt. It was exactly 21" long & fit the bed perfectly. It was wrinkled, but I put it on the bed, then lowered my ironing board & ironed it! This actually worked better for me than trying to iron it before putting it on the bed.
