Keep one of these in the shower at the cabin or at home. Works to prevent irritation instead of treating it after the fact. I am particularly sensitive to poison ivy compared to most people and has made a big difference for me and actually prevented irritation when I know i have been exposed.

Same review as the wipes but this soap is easier and a more cost effective way to clean while at home. Anytime I'm in the woods, near the woods, or anything like that, I wash with this. I'm super sensitive to the Poision Ivy family and generally have a rash for weeks. This is cheap insurance when working in these area's to minimize or eliminate the rash all together. I will continue to use these products, who knows if they actually work but since using them I've not had a rash from working in the woods (and even grass gives me a rash). In my reviews most of them are highly rated as I look for what I need, prior to buying, and are based on that fact (price/requirement/use). I've not had to contact the seller for any issues or claims, however would not hesitate to purchase this product, or from this seller again.

I have been using this product for over 25 years. It is the best for me, bar none. It was originally developed by an Air Force Physician to **remove radioactive fallout from human skin**. After retirement, he was working around poison ivy and developed a rash. He remembered this chemical he developed and tried it out on the rash and he found it would remove the oil that causes the rash named, "urushiol". Sometimes, it takes using it once, or it can take a few days. It just depends on where all you have touched since you got the oil on your skin. Remember to always wash your clothes and bath towels in this as well because you most likely used these items after coming into contact with the plant. This includes furniture as well. When washing in a washing machine, I pour some of the Tecnu ( a cup or more) in by itself and wash my clothes in it. I do not use detergent with it. After washing is finished, I then pour in detergent and start a new cycle and allow my clothes to then be washed with detergent. The throw them into the dryer after that.
